Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor in Illinois, I believe that therapy is your space, shaped by what you need right now.

With 13+ years of experience in community mental health, residential treatment, and inpatient psychiatry, I work with:

Children (5 years and older)

  • Young Adults
  • Adults
  • Families
  • Parents and Caregivers

I work alongside people experiencing trauma, grief & loss, depression, anxiety, overwhelm with their past/present/future, psychosis, mania, and substance use.

I provide a therapeutic space that is warm, validating, curiousity-driven, and nonjudgmental, integrating person-centered, trauma-informed, evidence-based, and culturally-responsive therapy.

  • group therapy
  • parent coaching

My approach to therapy

I provide warm, validating, curious, nonjudgmental, person- and family-centered, trauma-informed, evidence-based, and culturally-responsive therapy. Sessions can be structured by me, led by you, or a blend of both, always guided by your goals and changing needs. My clinical specialties include:

  • CBT (including Trauma-Focused CBT)
  • DBT
  • Motivational Interviewing (MI)
  • Play and Sand Tray Therapy
  • Parent Management Training (PMT)
  • Psychological First Aid & Skills for Psychological Recovery

What you can expect from me

Your first session will be shaped by your immediate needs. We may spend time getting to know each other and discussing what therapy can look like, or begin with what feels most important now. I will ask about your goals, past therapy experiences, and how things are going at home, work, or school. Together, we will identify goals and a path forward. Building a full picture takes time, so intake and goal setting may continue across our first few sessions as we tailor therapy to you.
