Great to meet you!

When anxiety, school, behavior, or family changes are affecting your child or teen, it can be hard to know where to begin. I offer therapy for children, teens, and families, with space to understand what is happening and what kind of support could help. I’m a bilingual Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Maryland, and I work in English and Spanish. You do not need to arrive with all the answers; we can start with what feels most important to your family.

My approach to therapy

I take a collaborative, family-centered approach. I want children and teens to have room to share their experiences, while also recognizing that parents and caregivers can be important partners in care. Together, we can better understand each young person’s needs and consider practical ways to support them at home, at school, and in relationships. I aim to make the work respectful of each person’s perspective and focused on what feels useful to the family.

What you can expect from me

Sessions can focus on building confidence, understanding emotions, and practicing coping skills, while making room for concerns like anxiety, behavior, school, family relationships, or life transitions. I work with young people and caregivers to identify everyday strategies that fit their needs. We can talk through what is going well, what feels difficult, and what might help next. The focus can develop over time as we learn more about what matters to your child and family.
