Great to meet you!

My experience across hospital, community mental health, intensive outpatient and private practice settings has strengthened my ability to adapt treatment to each person's unique circumstances, needs and strengths.

My strengths include helping clients make sense of emotional and relational patterns, understand how past experiences influence the present, and develop practical skills for managing distress and fostering healthier connections.

I enjoy working with teens through late adulthood navigating trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, and difficulties with self-worth.

My approach to therapy

My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and rooted in the understanding that our experiences shape not only how we think and feel, but also how we relate to ourselves, others, and the world around us.

Drawing from Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, EMDR, person-centered therapy and other evidence-based approaches, I help clients explore the connections between their thoughts, emotions and nervous system responses.

I believe meaningful healing involves more than insight alone. Our work may include reprocessing difficult experiences (EMDR), developing practical tools for emotional regulation, and creating lasting changes in how you experience and respond to life's challenges.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I'll spend time learning about your treatment needs, your strengths and other information you find helpful to guide our work together.

I'll offer my assessment on what types of treatment modalities may suit you best and leave time for your feedback/questions.

Finally, depending on timing and your interest, we may end with a mindfulness-based exercise. I promise I'll guide you through it! :).
