Many of the young people I work with hold marginalized identities — queer, trans, neurodiverse, disabled — and are looking for a therapist who doesn't just tolerate those identities but genuinely celebrates them. I'm queer/pan and neurodiverse myself, and I bring an affirming, judgment-free lens to everything I do: trans-affirming, polyamory-affirming, ace/aro-affirming, and rooted in body positivity and health-at-every-size principles. You don't have to explain or justify who you are here — you just get to be.
In our work together, I draw on trauma-informed talk therapy, mindfulness, and specialized trauma protocols like EMDR to help you process difficult experiences at a pace that feels safe. For clients dealing with big feelings that are hard to put into words, I also integrate somatic approaches, IFS (internal family systems), and polyvagal-informed techniques — ways of working with the body, not just the mind, to help you feel calmer, more grounded, and more like yourself.
