Great to meet you!

Hi! My name is Andrea and I am so happy you are here. I am a licensed Master Social Worker and Independent Mental Health Practitioner in Nebraska and Iowa. I’ve been working in a clinical mental health setting for over five years. My passion lies in empowering my clients to live with a sense of purpose and hope by increasing their self-esteem, recognizing their strengths, and building meaningful relationships.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy from a strengths-based perspective and utilize skills rooted in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I help my clients to recognize their strengths and build confidence to set and accomplish their goals, one step at a time. Together, we develop tools and practice skills that are individualized to help you cope with uncomfortable emotions and unforeseen circumstances.

What you can expect from me

My ultimate goal is to create an environment in which you feel safe, heard, and empowered to take the next steps forward. It’s okay to feel stuck, I can walk with you every step of the way. My hope is that following your first appointment you will leave my office with new skills and a sense of direction.
