Great to meet you!

I'm a licensed clinical social worker specialized in Adult ADHD and its co-occurring mood and anxiety disorders.

I have ADHD myself, along with anxiety, phobias, and emotional dysregulation, and the daily work of managing my own brain is what shapes how I show up for my clients. I graduated as a Geriatric Scholar from the University of Michigan School of Social Work, with concentrated study in mental health, chronic disease management, and geriatric care. Beyond the clinical work, I'm a 200-hour registered yoga teacher certified to work with adaptive and neuromuscular populations, and I've served as an American Red Cross Disaster Mental Health Social Worker volunteer through four deployments. I believe in personal accountability, and I bring both empathy and hard-won experience to everything we do together.

My approach to therapy

My approach is practical and strength-based. I use CBT integrative yoga therapy. Which is CBT interventions integrated within a framework of Ashtanga, or eight evidence-based holistic protocols, designed to create real, tangible improvements in your daily life with ADHD by helping you redirect motivation, strengthen executive function, and regulate your emotions and behaviors. I work collaboratively with you to identify the specific strategies that fit your ADHD experience — not a generic plan, but an individualized cognitive-somatic-psychological process you can actually use on your own between sessions. My goal is to help you build a toolkit that goes with you everywhere, so that progress doesn't stop when our session ends.

What you can expect from me

Before we even begin, I'll ask you to set yourself up for success: find a comfortable, private spot, silence your phone, and bring your favorite drink — I'll have my black coffee. We'll start with a genuine get-to-know-you conversation, because I want to understand you as a whole person — your strengths and your challenges — before anything else. I'll ask what brought you to therapy, and then I'll mostly listen. We'll also cover the practical side: how treatment works, confidentiality, policies, and any questions you have. By the time we sign off, you'll have a clear summary of what we discussed, your first home practice assignment, and a concrete sense of what comes next.
