Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker in Maryland and the District of Columbia with 13 years of professional experience. I earned my Master's in Social Work from Howard University. My education and experience have equipped me to provide effective services in helping clients manage stressors, anxiety, life transitions, trauma-related issues, grief and loss, goal setting, building self-esteem, finding confidence, and developing motivation.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is guided by the client and the issues the client brings to the table. I have had experience in using several treatment modalities to include CBT, systems approach, strengths based intervention, attachment theoretic approaches, solution focus approaches; crisis intervention modalities; trauma informed practice modalities; family systems approaches among others. I value partnering with clients to explore identification of concerns and exploring solutions.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a therapeutic partnership that includes acceptance and warmth, guided by direct approaches in helping to identify challenges and in exploring solutions to the challenges presented.
