Great to meet you!

My professional motto is " People don't care what you know, until they know that you care."

I am a Licensed Master Social Worker based in Michigan with over 20 years of experience helping adults navigate life’s challenges. I earned my master’s degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI, and have dedicated my career to supporting individuals through times of change and hardship.

My work focuses on helping people struggling with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship stress, and burnout. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly. Together, we work toward building resilience, healing, and self-discovery so you can move forward as the best version of yourself.

With a blend of professional insight and genuine empathy, my goal is to walk alongside you, offering support, tools, and encouragement as you strengthen your emotional well-being and reclaim a sense of balance in your life.

My approach to therapy

I believe in starting where the client is to support them with reaching their treatment goals.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, supportive relationship. I’ll invite you to share what brings you to therapy, what challenges you’re facing, and what goals you’d like to work toward. We’ll talk about your personal history, current stressors, and what has or hasn’t worked for you in the past. This session also gives you space to ask questions, share any concerns, and get a feel for my style and approach. By the end of our first visit, we’ll begin outlining a plan together — one that feels realistic, supportive, and tailored to your needs. My goal is for you to leave that first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the steps ahead.
