Great to meet you!

I’m Andrea Petraitis, LICSW, and I work with adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, and life transitions. I specialize in EMDR therapy and also integrate CBT, mindfulness, somatic work, and parts work to create a treatment plan tailored to you.

My approach to therapy

In our sessions, we focus on processing past experiences, releasing what no longer serves you, and rebuilding strength, resilience, and self-trust. Every client’s journey is unique, and I combine the right tools to meet your specific needs. I am passionate about helping adults heal, gain clarity, and move forward with confidence.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my goal is to get to know you, not just the challenges bringing you to therapy, but who you are as a person. We’ll talk about what’s been feeling heavy or overwhelming, explore what you hope to get out of therapy, and begin identifying the patterns or experiences that may be keeping you stuck.

I’ll share more about how I work, especially what EMDR therapy can look like and how it might support your goals. Together, we’ll create a plan that feels manageable and aligned with what you need right now.

Many clients leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of direction for where we’ll go next.
