Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome — I'm so glad you're here. I'm a licensed psychotherapist with 20 years of experience, licensed in Maine and New York, working with individuals and couples from young adulthood through any stage of life.

My work centers on helping people heal and grow in the areas that matter most: relationships, identity, and the experiences that have shaped you. I specialize in developmental trauma, relationships, divorce, anxiety, fear, loss, life transitions, empowerment, and spirituality.

I also have a special focus on working with men who want to show up differently in their relationships — learning to meet women with more empathy, presence, and emotional depth, and becoming the strong, solid, loving partners they want to be in this day and age.

For women, I am deeply passionate about empowerment — helping women navigate their way out of old relationships and patterns, reclaim their voice, and step into their full relational sovereignty. This is about knowing who you are, what you need, and refusing to abandon yourself in relationship.

What I love most about this work is being a supportive guide as people move through life's challenges, reframe old patterns, and reprogram the ways of being in the world that no longer serve them. Whether you're navigating something difficult or stepping into something new — a new version of yourself, a new relationship, a new chapter — I'm here for that journey with you.

My approach is compassionate, direct, empathic, and deeply relational. I show up fully present in the work with you. ( currently I am not seeing couples through Headway)

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is integrative and deeply relational. The word upaya — a Sanskrit term meaning "skillful means" — captures the heart of how I work. It's the idea of meeting people exactly where they are and using whatever tools and methods best serve their unique path toward healing.

I've been trained in a range of healing modalities, including Somatic Approaches, Relational Life Therapy, Focusing, Parts work, and Developmental Trauma, along with several other evidence-informed practices. I draw from whichever of these frameworks best meets you where you are. We work with not just your thoughts, but also your body, your relational patterns, and the deeper parts of yourself that may have been shaped by early experiences.

My style is warm, direct, and collaborative. I'm not a blank screen — I'm present with you in the work.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we work together to figure out where you feel most stuck or held back, where you're ready to heal and grow, what your primary goals are for your life, and what's getting in the way of them. We also take a close look at your family of origin to connect how past experiences may be shaping what's happening in your life today. I'm right there with you in the process.
