Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Andrea, and I’m the founder of Illuminated Psyche. I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who has been supporting adults on their healing journeys since 2019. My path into this work has always been rooted in a genuine passion for seeing people grow, heal, and live more authentically.

As a Black woman and a therapist, I understand how important it is to feel seen, heard, and understood without judgment. My style is warm, compassionate, and down-to-earth—I want therapy to feel like a safe space where you can show up exactly as you are.

I specialize in working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and emotional overwhelm. I also have a heart for helping those who are working to release old patterns and step into healthier ways of relating to themselves and others. My approach is holistic and collaborative: I’ll walk with you at your pace, honor your lived experiences, and give you practical tools to feel more grounded, empowered, and connected to yourself.

At Illuminated Psyche, my mission is to help you find light even in difficult seasons and to support you in building a life that feels meaningful, peaceful, and true to you.

My approach to therapy

In my work with clients, I focus on creating a space that feels safe, affirming, and real. My style is warm and conversational—I believe healing happens best when you feel comfortable enough to be yourself without fear of judgment. I’ll listen deeply, meet you where you are, and help you slow down enough to really notice what’s going on beneath the surface.

I specialize in supporting adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. Together, we’ll explore not just what you’re struggling with, but also the strengths and wisdom you already carry. I integrate practical coping strategies with a holistic lens, helping you connect the dots between mind, body, and spirit.

Clients often tell me they leave sessions feeling lighter, clearer, and more empowered. My role isn’t to tell you who to be—it’s to walk alongside you, helping you uncover the tools and inner light you need to move forward in a way that feels authentic and sustainable.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave sessions feeling heard, supported, and equipped with tools they can carry into their daily lives. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe to explore your emotions, challenge old patterns, and discover new ways of responding to life’s challenges. Together, we’ll work toward clarity, healing, and a deeper connection with yourself.
