Great to meet you!

You don't have to have it all figured out before you walk through my door. Come as you are. Whether you are navigating depression, anxiety, academic pressure, stress, relationship challenges, major life transitions, emotional crises, suicidal thoughts, reentry after incarceration, or simply feeling stuck, you do not have to navigate it alone. Life is a journey with unexpected twists and turns. I believe most people already have the answers within them. Sometimes they just need someone to ask the right questions, offer a new perspective, and help them trust themselves again.

I believe therapy isn't about someone telling you what to do it's about having someone walk alongside you, helping you see things from a different perspective.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, genuine, and direct. I'll validate what you're feeling, but I'll also challenge you when needed because growth often happens when we're willing to look at situations through a new lens. My role isn't to make decisions for you I believe you already have the capacity to make meaningful changes. My job is to help you uncover that confidence, build practical skills, and support you as you continue your journey.

I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy(ACT), Trauma-informed care, and strengths-based techniques to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and experiences.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where we begin getting to know one another. This session is an opportunity for clients to tell me about themselves, what brought them to therapy, what they have been experiencing, and what they hope to gain from the process.
