Great to meet you!

I believe people make sense in the context of their experiences, relationships, strengths, and struggles. Everyone has a unique and intricate background that shapes who they are, and I value getting to know the full person — not just the problems that brought them to therapy.

While it’s important to explore the challenges, patterns, and situations that may feel painful or overwhelming, I also focus heavily on the qualities that make you resilient, capable, and uniquely you. I strive to create a space that feels human, supportive, and judgment-free, where you can better understand yourself, build on your strengths, and work toward a healthier and more empowering life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is rooted in building a genuine therapeutic relationship and creating a safe, supportive space where you feel comfortable exploring your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment. I believe meaningful change happens when people feel heard, understood, and accepted for who they are.

Life presents new challenges every day, and therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process. Everyone’s journey is different, so I work collaboratively with clients at a pace that feels manageable and authentic to them. I value curiosity, self-understanding, and personal strengths, and I aim to help clients build insight, confidence, and healthier ways of coping while honoring what makes them unique.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a welcoming, relaxed, and judgment-free environment during their first session. I prioritize hearing your perspective first — your thoughts, feelings, experiences, and what you believe is most important to focus on. Rather than forcing a rigid structure, I want to understand who you are as a person and what brings you to therapy from your point of view.

I also believe your interests, strengths, and preferred ways of expressing yourself can be powerful tools in the therapeutic process. Whether through hobbies, creativity, humor, media, or other personal interests, I try to incorporate the things that already feel meaningful and comfortable to you as a way to build connection, insight, and healthier ways of coping.

Most importantly, the first session is about beginning to build trust and understanding at a pace that feels right for you. I look forward to exploring challenges, recognizing strengths, and growing together throughout the process.
