Great to meet you!

Hi, I completed my bachelors and masters degree in psychology from Vanguard University. I've worked with youth and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relational difficulties and addiction.

My approach to therapy

Life is hard, and painful thoughts and feelings are part of that. The goal isn't to get rid of them, it's to learn how to carry them skillfully so you can live in a way you'd be proud of. That's the heart of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), the evidence-based approach I use with every client. I'm easy-going, playful, and kind and also direct and goal-oriented. We'll work toward real change that would be meaningful to you.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about getting to know each other, making sure we're a good fit, and starting to understand what's brought you to this point. We'll look at how what you're dealing with is getting in the way of your life, start making sense of what's been keeping you stuck, and begin getting clear on what you actually want things to look like.

From there we establish goals and get to work, building the psychological muscles to navigate your struggles in a way you'd be proud of.
