Great to meet you!

I am Andria Hollingshead and am honored you are considering working with me. I am a retired Army Vet, solo-parent and have been working within the Veteran Affairs specializing in Trauma, Addictions and more. I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor and Substance Abuse Counselor in Wa and Ne, with certification in Trauma and the top 3 trauma therapies. I look at the counseling process as collaborative, fun, supportive and not something I do to you, but something I do with you!

My approach to therapy

Everything I do is through a trauma informed lens and based in somatic (body) therapies. I integrate a variety of modalities to best meet your goals. I am trained in EMDR, CPT and PE for trauma and love working with trauma, anxiety and addictions. I am also very kink and LGBT+ friendly and aware.

I do use humor in sessions and will challenge you sometimes because I see the best in you and know that you are the expert in your life. It may not feel like it but the answers are there. :)

What you can expect from me

My goals in therapy are yours!

I aim to make sure you know that you're in a safe and nonjudgmental space to process your most difficult times. I use only evidence based practices and work to get you to a point that you don't need therapy anymore. Building a trusting, nonjudgmental relationship is the first step to your success within therapy.

I am open to and expect feedback on your experience, I am always learning and learn just as much from you- as I hope you do from me.
