Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed clinical psychologist with 25+ years of experience helping adults navigate difficult and often overwhelming periods in their lives. I work with people struggling with excessive worry and overthinking, low mood and motivation, feeling stuck or burned out, difficulty coping with painful or traumatic experiences, grief and loss, relationship challenges, and major life changes. I bring extensive training in evidence-based treatment along with a warm, direct, and collaborative style. My goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely heard and understood while helping you develop practical tools, build resilience, and make meaningful changes in your life.

My approach to therapy

You can expect our sessions to be collaborative, practical, and focused on what matters most to you. We’ll work together to better understand the patterns, thoughts, emotions, and experiences that may be keeping you stuck and identify realistic ways to move forward. My goal is for you to leave sessions with greater clarity, useful strategies you can apply in everyday life, and increasing confidence in your ability to handle challenges. Over time, we’ll build on your strengths, develop healthier ways of coping, and work toward changes that feel meaningful and sustainable.

What you can expect from me

One of my greatest strengths is helping people make sense of complicated situations and find a manageable path forward. I have particular expertise helping people recover from traumatic or painful experiences, manage persistent worry and racing thoughts, improve low mood and motivation, cope with chronic stress and burnout, and navigate significant changes or losses. I’m also experienced in helping people recognize patterns that are no longer serving them and develop more effective ways of responding to difficult emotions and situations. My style is warm and compassionate, but also straightforward and practical—I want therapy to translate into meaningful changes in your everyday life.
