Great to meet you!

Hi! Thank you so much for being here. My name is Angie and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 10 years of experience as a mental health professional. At this stage in my career, my mission is to facilitate the untangling of complicated feelings, address nuance, and break down barriers of communication in order to restore harmony of self and within relationships. I am a mother and have lived experience with the challenges that modern parenting brings. I love working with parents across the lifespan from TTC through parents of adolescents. I am energetic, open-minded, curious, I will laugh with you, cheer you on and occasionally (gently) bring your attention to difficult things!

My approach to therapy

I practice from a trauma informed, strengths-based perspective and am a firm believer in the mind-body connection as a foundation for healing. I maintain an integrative, holistic approach integrating evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with mindfulness techniques, somatic experiencing, and IFS interventions.

Unlike traditional talk therapy alone I am to explore the full picture of your life. This includes emotional patterns, physical sensations, nervous system responses, beliefs, values, and relationships. I support adults seeking meaningful change, emotional balance, and stronger relationships.

What you can expect from me

What you can expect in your first session with me is a "get to know you" hour. During the first session I will explain my approach and answer any and all questions that might still be lingering following our consult call. I will then explore medical, psychological, and social history while diving into your hopes, goals, or expectations for therapy.
