Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Angela. I'm glad you're here! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have more than 20 years of experience working with individuals, families, and adolescents in a variety of settings, including schools, homes, and community-based environments. I provide individual therapy and couples therapy, supporting clients across a wide range of concerns.

I has extensive experience working with Anxiety, ADHD, Co-Occurring Disorders, Grief and Loss, Mood Disorders, Relationship Challenges, and Trauma, among other mental health concerns. I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), allowing me to tailor treatment to each client’s individual and unique needs.

I am committed to providing a genuine, person-centered experience where clients feel safe, welcomed, and supported. I believe in meeting clients where they are and incorporating their personal experiences, values, and beliefs into the treatment process.

My approach to therapy

I like a collaborative, and person-centered approach to therapy, creating a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported. I believe in meeting clients where they are and working at a pace that feels comfortable, while also gently encouraging growth and meaningful change.

My style is integrative and tailored to each individual, drawing from evidence-based approaches with helping clients build practical skills for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, communication, and problem-solving, while also addressing deeper patterns related to trauma, relationships, and life experiences.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect their first session with me to feel welcoming, supportive, and focused on getting to know them as a whole person and not just their concerns. The initial session is an opportunity to build rapport, discuss what brings them to therapy, and begin identifying goals for treatment.

I will gently guide the conversation by asking questions about current challenges, personal history, and what clients hope to gain from therapy, while also allowing space for clients to share at their own pace. There is no pressure to share everything all at once—clients are encouraged to go at a speed that feels comfortable for them.
