Great to meet you!

"Hello, I'm Angela. I believe healing can include gratitude, spirituality, connection with

nature, and a little humor along the way. As a Licensed Professional Counselor with

over 13 years of experience, I help people work through anxiety, depression, grief, and

generational trauma. I have 14 years of sobriety from alcohol and have been trained to treat patients with substance abuse. Together we'll build practical strategies for your challenges so you can grow into the

best version of yourself. I'd love to be part of your journey."

My approach to therapy

I am warm, open minded, confident, humorous and direct. I like to focus on the solution and come up with a action plan to strive to do the next right thing, one day at a time. I have extensive experience working with patients who struggle with substance abuse issues and generational trauma.

What you can expect from me

I strive to create a welcoming, warm, validating, non judgmental safe place for people to feel heard and seen. Goals I have in therapy include improving emotional regulation and an ability to manage stress, anxiety, depression, anger or grief. We can identify practical healthy coping skills and a plan to manage emotions between sessions. I empower patients to identify problem solving and conflict resolution skills in their relationships. My goal is to empower patients to improve self esteem, communication skills and set healthy boundaries.
