Great to meet you!

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially when you're dealing with anxiety, trauma, or feeling stuck in patterns that are hard to change. You don’t have to go through that alone.I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, and life transitions. I have experience in community mental health and use evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, EMDR, and mindfulness to support meaningful change.I strive to create a space that feels safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental, where you can be yourself and explore what’s been weighing on you. My goal is to help you gain insight, build effective coping skills, and feel more grounded and confident in your life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, person-centered, and tailored to your individual needs. I integrate evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, and mindfulness to help you better understand your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I believe in meeting you where you are and working at a pace that feels comfortable while also supporting growth and change. Together, we’ll identify patterns, build practical tools, and process experiences in a way that feels manageable and empowering. Above all, I aim to create a therapeutic relationship built on trust, openness, and respect.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and understanding what brings you to therapy. You’ll have space to share your concerns, goals, and any relevant background at your own pace. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your experiences and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy, and we’ll begin to outline a plan for how we can work together moving forward. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of what to expect from the process.
