I am trained in many models of therapy and utilize different approaches with different clients, depending on what issues they present with. I use CBT, DBT, ACT, and Gestault therapy as my primary interventions..

My approach to therapy

I have been a therapist for over 30 years and have had the privilege of seeing many kinds of clients. I think family background and childhood experiences are important, so I complete a very thorough intake process. I use humor and kindness to connect with my clients and give them my full attention when working with them. I value the uniqueness of each person and use approaches to therapy that I reel will best fit that person’s needs.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients will find a calm, gentle and caring woman who will be welcoming and non judgmental. Many people say they feel a sense of trust and safety following our first session. They will find me to be inquisitive, accepting and understanding. I will be helping them identify the issues that brought them to therapy and what we will do together to achieve identified therapy goals.
