Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Angela , a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). I believe that healing is a journey of both the mind and the spirit. I specialize in helping individuals and couples navigate the heavy weights of trauma, anxiety, and depression.

I provide a safe, non-judgmental space to explore your challenges. My goal is to help you process past hurts and find practical tools to move forward with hope and clarity.

When I’m not in the office, you’ll likely find me in the kitchen. I love to cook, and I find that the patience and care required to create a great meal often mirrors the intentional work we do together in therapy. I look forward to supporting you on your path to wellness.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and deeply rooted in creating a safe space for healing. I believe that every person’s story is unique, so I tailor my style to meet your specific needs. When working with trauma, anxiety, and depression, I focus on helping you understand the "why" behind your feelings while providing practical tools to manage your daily life.

For couples and those facing relationship problems, I focus on improving communication and rebuilding trust. I enjoy helping partners move past old patterns to find a new way of connecting.

Additionally, for clients who value their faith, I offer a Christian-integrated approach. This means we can incorporate your spiritual values and beliefs into the healing process as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. My goal is to be a steady guide as you process past hurts and work toward a more hopeful, balanced future.

Just as a good meal requires the right ingredients and patience, I believe therapy requires a thoughtful, step-by-step process to reach the best results.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, my primary goal is to make you feel comfortable, heard, and hopeful. We will start by creating a relaxed, non-judgmental environment where you can share your story at your own pace. I see the first session as a "get to know you" phase—similar to gathering the right ingredients before starting a recipe—where we identify what brought you here and what you hope to change.

Specifically, we will:

Discuss your current challenges with anxiety, depression, or trauma.

If you are a couple, we will look at the communication patterns you'd like to improve.

Discuss if and how you would like to integrate Christian values into our work.

By the end of the hour, we will have a clear, manageable plan and a set of initial goals. My hope is that you walk away feeling lighter, knowing that you don’t have to carry these burdens alone and that there is a clear path forward for your healing.
