
I have been helping families navigate crises and hardships for over 15 years. I obtained my Masters in Social Work in 2007 and have been working with families during periods of crises since. I'm passionate about helping parents/step-parents navigate the challenges of parenting, particularly with a challenging co-parent. Relationships can be difficult, and even harder in blended families. I also work with couples going through difficult times, wanting to repair and strengthen their relationships.
I aim to help individuals and couples find peace in their challenging season. Learning to let go of what you cannot change and take action on the things you can adjust. Therapy is client centered and goal directed, so you know what to expect throughout our time together. Couples Therapy is guided by research backed methods to help you and your partner work through the most difficult obstacles and deepen your love for each other again. You may even find you like your partner when we are done!
I aim to meet you where you are at when you enter the session. Some days you need to process the events and your feelings and other days things are going okay and we will focus on the goals we set, reframe your situation, build communication skills and cope skills. With couples, we will address obvious and underlying issues for each of you and enhance your communication and understanding of each other.
