Great to meet you!

I specialize in working with women navigating trauma-related disorders, including Anxiety, Depression, Complex PTSD, and attachment trauma. Using a trauma-informed and integrative approach—including Trauma-Focused CBT, DBT, ACT, mindfulness, psychodynamic, Person-Centered, Gestalt, and Jungian perspectives—I help clients explore relational wounds, unconscious patterns, and barriers to emotional regulation. Establishing strong rapport and a safe therapeutic alliance is foundational to my work, as meaningful healing begins with feeling seen and understood. I earned my MSW from the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Social Work and hold a BA in Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland, College Park. Together, we work to build resilience, deepen self-awareness, and move from survival toward empowered living.

My approach to therapy

My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, incorporating Trauma-Focused CBT, DBT, ACT, mindfulness, and psychodynamic therapy. I also draw from Person-Centered, Gestalt, and Jungian perspectives to support deeper exploration of unconscious patterns and relational dynamics that may be influencing present challenges. Establishing healthy rapport is a priority in my work, as a strong therapeutic alliance is the foundation for meaningful growth.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is designed to provide a safe, supportive space where you can feel seen, heard, and respected. We will begin by reviewing confidentiality to ensure you understand your rights and the protections in place, as creating emotional safety is a priority. I am mindful of pacing and will meet you where you are, allowing space for your comfort level while identifying your immediate needs and goals.

During this session, I will conduct a comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessment to better understand your history, current concerns, and the factors contributing to your presenting challenges. This process helps us develop a collaborative and individualized plan for treatment. Most importantly, our work begins with building trust and establishing a therapeutic alliance grounded in empathy, respect, and understanding.
