Great to meet you!

I am a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master of Social Work from UNC Charlotte. Growing up speaking Spanish as my first language, I know firsthand how much it matters to be truly understood, not just the words, but the culture, the family dynamics, and the unspoken things that shape who we are. My career has been built around serving communities that are often overlooked in mental health care, like immigrants, first-generation students, and bicultural individuals. I specialize in anxiety, depression, self-esteem, emotional regulation, and communication, and I deeply understand that in many of our cultures, asking for help can feel like a weakness. It is not. It is one of the bravest things you can do.

My approach to therapy

I use a warm, person-centered approach while incorporating CBT, DBT skills, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness. I tailor my style to each client because there's no one-size-fits-all in therapy. My goal is to meet you where you are, help you understand your patterns, and build practical tools that work in your real life.

What you can expect from me

The first session is about getting to know each other. I'll ask about what brought you in, what's been weighing on you, and what you're hoping to get out of therapy. I aim to create a space that feels safe from the very first conversation. There's no pressure to have it all figured out. By the end, we'll have a sense of direction and you'll leave knowing what working together could look like.
