Great to meet you!

I believe that every person has the ability to overcome life challenges. Sometimes these challenges build up and become overwhelming and can cause difficulties in social, emotional, and behavioral wellbeing. My role is to collaborate with you on creating treatment goals and developing interventions that focus on building on your strengths and realistic ways to cope with barriers to reaching these goals.

My approach to therapy

My approach during therapy sessions is to create a safe, nonjudgmental, empathic space that allows for growth and learning. I take the time to understand your point of view by taking into consideration your values, beliefs, culture, and life experiences. I tailor interventions based on your interests, strengths, and abilities with opportunities to practice learned skills between sessions.

What you can expect from me

My goal for every session is for each client to walk away with some skill to practice that is focused on alleviating distress to create calm. For clients to walk way feeling hopeful and optimistic and to feel like they are making progress in reaching their goals.
