Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed clinical social worker with 25 years of experience in various mental health settings, child and family trauma response programs, and non-profit program management and administration. Areas of expertise and interest include vicarious trauma/compassion fatigue, work-related stress, anxiety, depression, and role changes through life stages. I have experienced the difficult reality of loving and living with someone who is struggling with mental health and/or addiction concerns.

My approach to therapy

My practice is person-centered and strengths-based, working with each client to explore their concerns, values, strengths, and areas for growth. Utilizing concepts from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and psychodynamic theory, I offer my clients new perspectives and practical tools to establish balance, acceptance, and strength.

What you can expect from me

My greatest strength is my ability to empathize and engage with my clients. I listen without judgment, I gain clarity by reflecting on what I have heard, and offer acceptance and validation. I share practical tools for achieving desired outcomes. My intent is to have you feeling relief from your very first session. You will know that you are understood, that you have a partner in this work, and that there is hope.
