Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Anna Bailey, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Minnesota. My practice is centered on supporting teens, adults, parents, and couples who are ready to explore the patterns that have shaped their lives and make meaningful changes.

As your therapist, I’m here to walk alongside you as you navigate challenges. Think of me as someone holding a flashlight, helping you find your way out of this difficult season and into the light. I'm deeply committed to what's truly best for you—even when it’s tough.

My approach to therapy

What sets my practice apart is that I don't believe in judging you or simply telling you what’s right or wrong. Our work together goes much deeper than that. My goal is to help you understand the roots of the struggles you're facing, process them, and take actionable steps toward the life and relationships you truly want.

I’m passionate about this work because I understand that life is hard for everyone at some point. We all struggle with something, or we wish for something to be different. You don't have to go through it alone. If you find yourself in a dark or unexpected place—whether it’s in your relationship, your journey as a parent, or another area of your life—I’m here to walk beside you as you take the steps toward healing and transformation.

What you can expect from me

In our initial sessions, we’ll work together to explore what brought you to therapy and how it’s impacting your life. We’ll discuss when you first noticed these patterns, how they show up in your day-to-day experiences, and what you've tried in the past to cope. Understanding where you are right now is key, but I also believe that so much of who we are is tied to where we've been.

That’s why we’ll take the time to dive into your story. We’ll examine your childhood, early relationships, and any current or past romantic patterns. By connecting the dots between your past experiences and your present-day challenges, you can start to see how your history is influencing your life today. This insight can be truly liberating.

Once we have that clarity, we’ll focus on the areas where you want to see change. Together, we’ll create a plan, develop the skills and insights needed to make it happen, and work through the challenges in a way that aligns with your values and authentic self. We’ll also work on identifying your triggers and learning how to manage them in healthier ways.
