Great to meet you!

Hello! I'm Anna, a Licensed Independent Social Worker with more than 10 years of experience supporting individuals on their mental health and personal growth journeys. I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health from the University of Pittsburgh, and I am passionate about helping people transform painful experiences into opportunities for meaningful personal and relational growth.

My goal is to create a therapeutic environment where clients can slow down, engage in nonjudgmental self-reflection, process emotions, and discover what helps them live with greater authenticity, purpose, and intention. I strive to provide a collaborative and supportive space for individuals from all backgrounds, empowering them to pursue change, begin the healing process, build resilience, and celebrate their unique experiences.

I also believe that humor can be a powerful part of healing. While therapy often involves addressing difficult emotions and challenges, I value the role that laughter and lighthearted moments can play in fostering connection, perspective, and growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and client-centered. I believe that each person brings unique strengths, experiences, and perspectives into the therapeutic process, and I work alongside clients to create a safe, supportive space where they feel heard, understood, and respected. I strive to foster an environment that encourages curiosity, self-reflection, and meaningful growth while honoring each client's individual goals and pace.

I draw from evidence-based therapeutic approaches and tailor treatment to meet the specific needs of each client. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, stress management, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-esteem, trauma, and personal growth. I am particularly passionate about helping individuals make sense of difficult experiences, develop healthier coping strategies, strengthen relationships, and build greater resilience.

What you can expect from me

Together, we identify goals that are meaningful and relevant to each client's unique circumstances. These goals often include developing healthier coping skills, reducing symptoms of anxiety or depression, improving self-esteem, strengthening relationships, processing difficult experiences, managing stress more effectively, and building greater self-awareness and emotional resilience. I also help clients explore patterns that may be holding them back, clarify their values, and make choices that align with the life they want to create.
