Welcome! Being human can be quite challenging at times. Seeking help takes courage, so congratulations on taking that step! As a licensed clinical social worker I find it a privilege to serve clients and to be trusted in deeply moving and meaningful conversations and provide compassionate support as well as challenge when called for. I believe in providing people with skills that they can utilize across their lifetime. .

I obtained my license in 2006 but had been providing qualified mental health support through non-profit agencies since 1992. I particularly enjoy working with people on relational issues, dynamics, and communications - skills all of us need and few of us were supported in obtaining.,

Everyone has a unique story and deserves an individualized approach to care. Once we decide to work together, we’ll act as partners in your therapeutic journey. It’s important to me that we communicate openly and you feel respected in our relationship. I’ll be there to listen to you, challenge you, and support you along the way. I am not just a tea and sympathy therapist!

I always start with an introductory session, where you’ll have the opportunity to share your story and what you hope to achieve in therapy. We’ll work together to figure this out! I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable, while also feeling secure. From there, we’ll work together in the sessions that follow to make these goals a reality for you.
