Great to meet you!

Welcome! I'm Anne, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) licensed in Maryland. I provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health care through comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive therapy.

I believe that the best mental health care goes beyond prescribing medication. While medication can be an important part of treatment, I also emphasize practical, sustainable lifestyle changes that support overall well-being. Together, we'll explore areas such as sleep, nutrition, stress management, physical activity, relationships, and daily routines to create a treatment plan that addresses the whole person—not just the symptoms.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and solution-oriented. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable sharing your experiences, asking questions, and actively participating in your care. Every treatment plan is personalized to reflect your unique goals, values, and circumstances.

Whether you're experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, or other mental health challenges, my goal is to help you feel more balanced, resilient, and confident in managing your mental health. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward lasting wellness.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized. I believe that every person deserves to feel heard, understood, and respected. I take the time to listen to your concerns, understand your unique experiences, and work with you to develop a treatment plan that aligns with your goals and values.

While medication can be an important part of treatment, I believe the best outcomes come from addressing the whole person. I incorporate evidence-based medication management alongside practical lifestyle strategies, including improving sleep, nutrition, stress management, physical activity, and healthy coping skills, to support long-term mental wellness.

I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and actively participating in decisions about your care. My goal is not only to help reduce symptoms but also to empower you with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to build a healthier, more balanced, and fulfilling life.

What you can expect from me

Your first appointment is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a strong therapeutic partnership. My goal is to create a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment where you feel comfortable sharing your concerns.

During our initial visit, we'll discuss what brought you to treatment, your current symptoms, medical and mental health history, any previous treatment experiences, your lifestyle, and the goals you hope to achieve. I'll also ask questions about areas such as sleep, stress, relationships, work, and daily functioning to gain a comprehensive understanding of your overall well-being.

Together, we'll review treatment options, discuss whether medication may be beneficial, and develop a personalized plan that fits your needs and preferences. You'll have plenty of time to ask questions, express any concerns, and actively participate in decisions about your care.

My goal is for you to leave your first appointment feeling heard, informed, and hopeful, with a clear understanding of the next steps in your mental health journey.
