Anne Maria Ruinge

Anne Maria Ruinge is a dual board-certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of healthcare experience. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care from the University of Maryland and completed her post-master's certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Johns Hopkins University.

Her clinical experience spans outpatient care, inpatient critical care, and behavioral health. Anne Maria provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and evidence-based treatment for adults with a wide range of mental health conditions.

Anne Maria takes a compassionate, patient-centered, and evidence-based approach to mental health care. She works collaboratively with each patient to develop individualized treatment plans that integrate medication management, education, and lifestyle strategies to support long-term recovery and overall well-being.

Your first appointment is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation designed to better understand your concerns, symptoms, and treatment goals. We will discuss your current symptoms, medical and psychiatric history, medications, family history, lifestyle, and any factors that may be affecting your mental health.

Together, we will develop an individualized treatment plan, which may include medication management, psychotherapy recommendations, lifestyle modifications, and referrals to other services when appropriate. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions, discuss your concerns, and actively participate in decisions about your care.
