Great to meet you!

I am a licensed mental health therapist specializing in maternal mental health, anxiety, trauma, and depression, with a focus on supporting clients through emotional overwhelm and major life transitions. I have advanced training in perinatal mental health and a strong foundation in attachment and emotion regulation, which informs my work with individuals experiencing stress, identity shifts, and relational challenges. I integrate evidence-based approaches including CBT, EMDR, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness-based interventions to help clients build coping skills, reduce symptoms, and increase insight into underlying patterns.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative and grounded, with a focus on women’s issues, parenting, relationships, and the emotional demands of caregiving. I support clients through pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, and the evolving identity changes that come with motherhood and life transitions. Sessions are paced to meet each client where they are, balancing practical, skills-based strategies with deeper work around attachment, self-understanding, and relational dynamics to support meaningful and sustainable change.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a calm, supportive space focused on getting to know their story, current concerns, and what led them to seek therapy. I typically gather background information, explore current symptoms and stressors, and begin identifying initial goals together so the work feels clear and collaborative from the start.

My priority is creating an environment that feels safe, nonjudgmental, and paced to the client’s comfort, especially when discussing sensitive topics such as trauma, anxiety, parenting stress, and relationship challenges. By the end of the first session, clients often leave with a clearer sense of direction, initial coping strategies when needed, and a shared plan for how we will approach treatment moving forward.
