Great to meet you!

Even though you may be struggling with something right now, you can choose to: see it in a new way... be open to feeling differently about it... and with time, change your relationship to it. Everything you need is already within you. My role is to help you access it, and use it.

It is hard to be vulnerable in therapy. And while I don't yet know your story, I do know that if you are considering therapy, you are already doing the hard work of introspection. It takes courage to seek out more for yourself. You already have my respect and my empathy, and I would love to be part of your journey of healing and discovery.

My approach to therapy

In our work together, I'll bring curiosity, empathy, and evidence-based therapies. If you bring openness, willingness to practice, and neuroplasticity (don't worry, everyone's got that), you can change -- literally re-wire -- your brain. And when you do, you'll be amazed at the cascade of positive changes this creates... not only within you, but all around you in your life.

If you're open to it, I'd like to help you explore mind-body approaches (e.g., EFT tapping, breathwork, meditation, mindfulness, energy work, other somatic techniques) along with using ideas behind other evidence-based talk therapy modalities including ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy) and IFS (internal family systems therapy), and spiral out from there as your story leads us.

I am passionate about helping you both understand yourself more deeply and have compassion for yourself. In this process of discovery, we will take turns both leading and following, and we will both be learning.

What you can expect from me

I love working with anyone who has a sincere desire to improve some aspect of their life. Someone who is eager to learn -- both about themselves and about new tools that could help them achieve changes they might (or might not even) be looking for.

In our sessions, I'll often introduce resources -- everything from books to podcasts to YouTube channels to apps -- that you have the option to explore, or not.
