Great to meet you!

As a clinician, I aim to create a warm, safe, judgement free space for for you to be introspective, learn new ways of understanding yourself and to develop lasting tools you can carry with you outside of therapy. As a practice, Moving Up Mental Health's mission is to destigmatize therapy for individuals and progress the mental health movement.

My approach to therapy

My general approach to therapy is grounded in a humanistic approach lead with kindness and empathy. In sessions, I will explore with you while presenting you with deeper understandings of how your mind, thoughts, and emotions intersect and work. By exploring these with you on a personal level, you will learn tools to reframe your world and understanding.

What you can expect from me

Every client is different and clients can expect a clinician that knows and values that along with the therapeutic alliance. Sessions are generally a combination of empathetic support, and gentle challenges to help facilitate progress and growth. Clients should be prepared to continue self exploration and complete mental health exercises between sessions to support your in session work.
