Great to meet you!

I am proud to provide direct, fluent mental health services to Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing individuals in American Sign Language (ASL). By eliminating the need for a third-party interpreter, we co-create a seamless, private, and culturally responsive therapeutic space where your identity and language are fully honored.

My approach to therapy

partner with clients navigating: Systemic & Interpersonal Challenges: Communication barriers and systemic oppressions. Mental Health & Neurodiversity: Anxiety, depression, ADHD, and trauma. Life Dynamics: Complex life transitions and intellectual disability.

What you can expect from me

Coming to therapy for the first time can bring up a mix of emotions. Our initial 90-minute session is a collaborative, low-pressure space designed for us to get to know each other and see if we are a good fit.

Here is exactly what we will do:

  • Connect Directly in ASL: We will communicate directly in American Sign Language from minute one. There are no interpreters, no communication barriers, and no pressure. We will move at whatever pace feels comfortable for you.
  • Review the Basics: We will briefly review standard paperwork, privacy/confidentiality rules, and practice policies so you feel secure about your rights.
  • Share Your Story: You can share what brings you to therapy right now. We will look at what is working in your life, what feels heavy, and how communication barriers, oppressions, or mental health challenges are impacting you. Explore Your Goals: We will discuss what healing or progress looks like for you. You do not need to have everything figured out; we will figure it out together.
  • Decide Next Steps: At the end, we will decide if we want to move forward together and discuss a schedule that fits your life.
