I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor practicing in both Rhode Island and New Mexico. I have much experience supporting those who experience the effects of challenging experiences and living in this stressful, complicated world. Many of my clients feel unsure about where to go in life, whether that’s in their relationships, at work, or on a spiritual level. They seek transformation but don’t know where to begin, turning to therapy as a way to find professional help.
I practice Internal Family Systems therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to provide clients with comprehensive, trauma-informed therapy sessions. Clients explore the different parts of themselves and their trauma reactions, finding ways to make sense of who they are and how they came to be that way. I also introduce concepts like mindfulness and meditation into sessions.
My goal is to help clients access their innate wisdom when figuring out how to transform their lives. I teach clients how to cultivate self-awareness to do so, and also teaches them how to cope with distress in ways that feel natural to them. I strive to support clients find joy and meaning in their lives, and guide them compassionately as they better understand themselves and heal from past trauma.
