Great to meet you!

I am the co-founder of a local harm reduction organization, and have worked extensively with communities who are impacted by:

homelessness, chronic illness, including HIV/AIDS, people who use drugs, sex workers, LGBTQIA2S+ and BIPOC.

I use tools from therapeutic modalities such as:

-Motivational Interviewing

-Narrative Therapy

-Internal Family Systems

-and more!

I like to think outside the box, hear your story, encourage you to trust your instincts, get curious about patterns and where they come from, and ask philosophical questions for us to explore together.

My approach to therapy

I use a relational approach, meaning I believe that connection between a therapist and their client can be the most important aspect of therapy, and the cornerstone of that is trust and transparency.

Who you are and the identities you hold are important to me, and important to the work we do in therapy. I encourage people to talk about the ways systemic harm impacts their mental health, so conversations about topics like racism, transphobia, sexism, and other types of systemic violence and how they impact your well-being are always welcomed into our conversations and tied into your healing.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect us to take things slow. I know that trust takes time. Please come with any questions you might have about my practice! I will ask you what brings you to therapy right now, what your goals are, if any, and anything you think its important for me to know about you. We will begin to establish a collaborative relationship, and agree on frequency of our visits.
