Great to meet you!

Hi I'm Anuhea! Pronounced Aw-new-hey-uh. I was born and raised in Hawaii and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Masters of Social Work from Pacific University Oregon. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Utah and Hawaii. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused, and Strengths-based approaches to engage with clients.

My approach to therapy

As a Native Hawaiian clinician I approach the therapeutic process with cultural humility. Whatever your background, I work to understand the different layers of your identity, past experiences, and relationships. I believe that this is the foundation from which we can draw strength and power to reach your goals.

What you can expect from me

In our first session my goal is to make you feel welcome and safe. I'm happy to answer any questions you have about me or my therapy style and move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I will also be excited to get to know you of course!
