Great to meet you!

If you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or uncertain about your next step, you do not have to work through it alone. I support adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, trauma, and substance use or recovery. I believe your story deserves to be heard in full—not reduced to a diagnosis or a difficult moment. Together, we can make sense of what you are experiencing, identify your strengths, and create space for the change you want in your life.

My approach to therapy

I use a collaborative, trauma-informed approach that incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and strengths-based therapy. In session, CBT helps us notice how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors may be connected and practice new ways of responding. Motivational Interviewing helps us explore mixed feelings about change without pressure or judgment, which can be especially helpful when addressing substance use and recovery. I tailor our work to your goals, pace, values, and lived experience, with an emphasis on practical skills you can use between sessions.

What you can expect from me

Your first session will be a relaxed, structured conversation focused on getting to know you and what brings you to therapy. We will begin by reviewing confidentiality, your current concerns, relevant history, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I may ask questions about your emotional well-being, relationships, stressors, coping strategies, and any past therapy experiences. You do not need to prepare a perfect story or share everything at once. We will move at a pace that feels manageable, answer any questions you have, and discuss initial goals and next steps before the session ends.
