Hi, my name is Aquarius Cox. I have worked as a Substance Use Counselor, Adolescent Counselor, Domestic Violence Counselor, and as a Mental Health Counselor who strives to help her clients achieve the highest quality of life. Modalities that I use are CBT, Solution-Focused, Client Centered, Motivational Interviewing, and DBT.
I believe in building a strong therapeutic relationship by reassuring my clients of their value and the validity of their stories. I work with the client to give guidance, increase awareness, increase motivation, increase coping ability, increase self-worth, increase life skills and to improve their overall quality of life.
I desire to help the client process life situations, set goals and create objectives that are tangible. The client can expect warmth, acceptance and genuineness as we work together.
