Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with experience across multiple levels of psychiatric care, including outpatient clinics, inpatient psychiatric treatment, partial hospitalization programs, and emergency department psychiatric consultations. This diverse background allows me to work effectively with individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns, from everyday challenges to more complex psychiatric conditions. I am committed to providing culturally sensitive, patient-centered care and building strong therapeutic relationships based on trust, respect, and open communication.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, compassionate, and evidence-based. I believe in treating the whole person, not just their symptoms. I work closely with my patients to understand their unique experiences, strengths, and goals, tailoring treatment plans to their individual needs. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to actively participate in their treatment decisions.

What you can expect from me

During our initial appointment, we will conduct a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation to gain a thorough understanding of the concerns that have brought you to treatment. This assessment will include a detailed review of your current symptoms, psychiatric and medical history, medications, lifestyle factors, psychosocial background, and treatment goals. You will have ample opportunity to ask questions, discuss any concerns, and share information that you feel is important to your care. Through a collaborative and patient-centered approach, we will develop an individualized treatment plan and review evidence-based recommendations designed to support your mental health, functioning, and overall well-being. My goal is for you to leave the session feeling understood, supported, and well-informed about the next steps in your treatment journey.
