Great to meet you!

I believe that meaningful change happens through connection, trust, and collaboration. As a therapist, I see us as partners in the therapeutic process—working together to better understand your experiences, build on your strengths, and create lasting change. I am deeply committed to providing culturally responsive care that honors each person's unique story, values, and identity. I truly love the work of psychotherapy and consider it a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they heal, grow, and move toward the life they want to live.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is a collaborative process rooted in trust, curiosity, and mutual respect. While I bring clinical knowledge and evidence-based practices to our work, I believe you are the expert on your own life. My role is to walk alongside you, helping you gain insight, build on your strengths, and navigate challenges in a way that aligns with your values and goals. I provide culturally responsive, trauma-informed care and tailor therapy to honor each client's unique experiences, identity, and story. Together, we'll create a safe, supportive space where healing, growth, and meaningful change can take place.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my goal is to create a welcoming, safe, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable sharing your story at your own pace. We will begin by getting to know one another, exploring what brings you to therapy, identifying your goals, and discussing what you hope to gain from our work together. I view the first session as the beginning of our partnership, where we establish trust, develop an understanding of your unique experiences, and begin identifying strengths and opportunities for growth. Clients can expect a compassionate and collaborative environment where they feel heard, respected, and supported as we work together toward meaningful change.
