Great to meet you!

As a Psychologist working with clients for several years, I appreciate the strength it takes to reach out for support. I believe therapy is an opportunity for you to use your strengths and experiences to build a life that feels meaningful to you! I primarily work in the areas of trauma, anxiety, and depression.

My approach to therapy

Whether you are struggling with making sense of the past, worries about the future, or feeling settled in your current life, I will work with you to set concrete goals, identify barriers, and create meaning and purpose in your life. I have worked in a variety of settings, and can help you learn skills to process challenging life experiences, identify and change negative thinking, and manage intense emotions. I use a mix of Cognitive-Behavioral and Acceptance-based approaches, always coming from a trauma-informed perspective and working in partnership with you.

What you can expect from me

The first session can be the toughest one, so I work to create a welcoming and warm environment where you can share as much or as little of your story as you feel ready for. We will work together to establish your goals for therapy and a plan to meet those goals. As therapy is a process, I expect to continue building trust and possibly changing those goals throughout our time working together.
