Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Ashleigh! I am a dedicated therapist with four years of clinical practice, backed by a foundation in corrections case management. Over my career, I have also served as a mental health consultant and a Treatment Director for both IRTS and ARMHS programs. This blend of direct care and systemic leadership gives me the unique insight needed to help you navigate complex personal and professional challenges. Beyond my titles, I am a mom, wife, and friend. I approach every client with the exact same warmth, intention, and compassion I would want for my own loved ones.

I help teenagers and adults navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, grief, substance use, and major life transitions with a grounded, compassionate, and practical approach to therapy. My work supports clients who may feel overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, disconnected, or exhausted from carrying everything on their own. Together, we create a space that feels safe, supportive, and free of judgment while building tools for long-term healing and emotional resilience.

I specialize in helping individuals experiencing alcohol and substance abuse challenges, anger management concerns, impulse control difficulties, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), bipolar disorder, and mood instability. I also work closely with men navigating emotional expression, stress, identity, relationships, and life pressures, as well as women facing burnout, trauma, self-esteem concerns, and personal growth challenges.

Therapy with me is collaborative and tailored to your goals. Whether you are processing trauma, managing anxiety, coping with grief and bereavement, or working toward healthier relationships and emotional balance, we will focus on practical strategies that help you feel more grounded, empowered, and connected in your day-to-day life.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic style is deeply person-centered and intentionally trauma-focused. As a cognitive-based therapist, I help you understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and actions using practical frameworks like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Solution-Focused Therapy. Because of my background in clinical leadership, I also bring a systems-level perspective to our work; this means I am equipped to help you navigate work-related burnout, professional boundaries, and complex life transitions alongside your personal healing. Additionally, I specialize in trauma care using Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). This highly structured model is proven to significantly reduce symptoms in as few as 12 sessions—with the comforting benefit that we do this healing work without you ever needing to explicitly talk about or relive the details of your trauma.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my primary goal is to create a safe, compassionate, and completely non-judgmental environment where you can finally exhale. We will spend this time getting to know each other at a pace that feels comfortable for you. We will gently explore what brings you to therapy, identifying both the emotional hurdles and any practical or systemic barriers you might be facing. We will work collaboratively to establish clear, manageable goals—whether your focus is recovering from trauma, finding balance in your personal life, or navigating a professional challenge—so you leave your very first appointment feeling grounded and hopeful about the path forward.
