Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist, licensed in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia, with over eight years of experience supporting individuals within mental health and substance use settings. I work with people navigating anxiety, mood, and personality disorders, and I offer a compassionate, collaborative space to explore concerns such as self-esteem, relationships, family dynamics, work stress, addiction, race and identity, aging, sleep, nutrition, women’s issues, and overall stress management. My goal is to help clients feel understood, empowered, and supported as they move toward meaningful and lasting change.

My approach to therapy

y therapeutic approach is empathetic, mindful, and deeply client-centered. I strive to create a safe and supportive space where you feel heard and understood, while also offering gentle honesty and thoughtful challenges when they support your growth. Grounded in a strengths-based perspective, I draw from evidence-based approaches including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, person-centered therapy, and EMDR to meet you where you are and support meaningful change at your own pace.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together, you can expect a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where you are free to share at your own pace. We’ll spend time getting to know one another, discussing what brings you to therapy, and exploring your goals and hopes for our work together. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, and challenges, while ensuring you feel heard and supported. This session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, learn about my approach, and decide if we’re a good fit. My goal is for you to leave feeling grounded, understood, and supported as you take this meaningful first step.
