Great to meet you!
My path into counseling has really been shaped by a heart for serving others and being part of a strong, supportive community. Before becoming a therapist, I served in the United States Marine Corps, which taught me a lot about resilience, responsibility, and how much people quietly carry on their shoulders. Since then, I’ve spent years working in schools, healthcare, and community settings all while growing and caring for my own family. I’ve experienced firsthand the daily balancing act of caring for others while trying to stay grounded myself.
I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling and have supported individuals through anxiety, burnout, life transitions, and crisis situations. I’ve worked closely with children, teens, and families, helping navigate some of their toughest times. I’ve also supported educators, veterans, and others in service-oriented roles, and one thing I’ve seen again and again is how often the “helpers” are the ones going without support.
Many of the people I work with are dependable, capable, and always there for others, but underneath, they may feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or disconnected in their relationships. If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone. In our work together, we’ll create a space where you can breathe a little easier, feel understood, and start reconnecting with what matters most to you.
