Great to meet you!

Taking the first step is the hardest, and I am glad you are here. You deserve to live a life that is enriched, meaningful, and fulfilling. I will work in partnership with you to reach your mental health goals and find relief from your symptoms. I use an individualized person-centered approach, and take pride in building healthy therapeutic relationships with my clients. I am a licensed clinical social worker and psychotherapist with 8 years of social work experience and 5 years of clinical therapy experience including working with prenatal and postpartum mothers, families, young adults, and adults. I currently hold a professional license in the states of California and North Carolina. I also have my Perinatal Mental Health Clinical Certification (PMH-C) through PSI to specifically treat birthing people in the perinatal periods. I have lived in San Francisco, CA and recently moved to Raleigh, NC in May 2026. I am originally from East Tennessee and obtained my Master's at the University of Tennessee.

I specialize in depression, anxiety, prenatal/postpartum care, chronic and terminal illness, OCD, substance use, bipolar disorder, PTSD, trauma, and borderline personality disorder. I have extensive training in DBT (dialectic behavioral therapy), and CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy).

Vulnerability takes courage and strength, starting therapy can help strengthen and build those skills. You do not have to suffer with your symptoms alone, and there can be relief. If you feel that I could be a good fit, please feel free to reach out for an initial consultation.

My approach to therapy

I have a PMH-C certification with training and specific focus to treat prenatal/postpartum birthing people and families. DBT and CBT are the modalities I have the most training in which help target mood disorders, cognitive distortions, and behavioral activation. I always use a person-centered approach so that your therapy is evidence based, and specifically curated to your needs. I believe in working together as a team, you are the expert when it comes to your history, emotions, and future goals. I am here to help you facilitate and achieve those goals.

What you can expect from me

During our first session we will spend time identifying your goals for therapy and getting to know each other to see if I can be a positive therapeutic fit for your needs. I'd be honored to be in your corner!
