Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Ashley, a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor, National Certified Counselor and Registered Play Therapist passionate about supporting children, teens, adults, and families through life’s challenges with greater understanding, connection, and confidence.

My clinical background is deeply rooted in infant and early childhood mental health, attachment, trauma, emotional regulation, and strengthening relationships within families. Over the years, my work has expanded to include adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, parenting stress, burnout, and feeling disconnected from themselves or others.

One area I am especially passionate about is supporting individuals during pregnancy, postpartum, and the early parenting years. I feel deeply called to support mothers and parents as they navigate the emotional, relational, and identity shifts that can come with bringing new life into the world.

I believe healing happens when people feel safe, seen, and genuinely understood. My goal is to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are—without judgment, pressure, or the need to have it all figured out.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, relational, and collaborative, while also being honest, thoughtful, and direct when needed. I believe symptoms, behaviors, and relationship patterns often tell a deeper story, and together we work to understand what may be underneath the struggle—not just manage what is happening on the surface.

I use a trauma-informed, attachment-focused approach and tailor treatment to each individual’s unique needs, strengths, and goals. Depending on the client, our work may incorporate play therapy, attachment-based interventions, trauma-informed care, parent support and coaching, emotional regulation and coping skills, mindfulness, grounding strategies, and relationship or communication work.

Whether I am working with a young child, a teenager, an adult, or a parent adjusting to a new season of life, I strive to create a therapeutic relationship built on trust, authenticity, and meaningful growth.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, and it is completely normal to feel nervous, unsure, or even a little awkward at first.

In our first session, my focus is on getting to know you—your story, what has brought you to therapy, what feels heavy right now, and what you hope life might look like moving forward. We will talk about your strengths, your challenges, and the goals that matter most to you.

This is not a session where you need to have all the answers or share everything at once. We will move at a pace that feels safe and comfortable for you.

My hope is that you leave our first session feeling heard, respected, and with a sense that you do not have to navigate this alone.
