Great to meet you!

Do changes in the world or thoughts about the future feel overwhelming or scary to you? Many clients contact me with concerns about sociopolitical issues or are struggling to cope with day-to-day stressors while adjusting to obstacles in the shifting world around them. I strive to provide a safe atmosphere of empathy and compassion where you feel accepted, heard, and can process your experiences. I offer tools, coping skills, and resources to help you navigate challenges in the changing world while experiencing greater peace and joy in life. My career spans 20 years in mental health, addiction treatment, and disability services.

My approach to therapy

I am body/sex positive, an advocate for social justice, and love working with clients from diverse backgrounds. I provide an affirming space for clients who are LGBTQIA+, autistic, or neurodivergent, have experienced religious trauma, chronic/terminal health conditions, caregiving for others, loss in their life, or are seeking acknowledgment and acceptance.

What you can expect from me

I currently work with adults and couples. I use evidence-based practices and think outside of the box to tailor care to meet specific client needs/desires. I counsel clients from an approach of unconditional support and gentle directness to help them harness tools and their strengths to achieve change. I encourage client self determination and self advocacy
